Who we are

ASND is a fitness tracking app operated by DC Labs, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use ASND at asndfitness.com and app.asndfitness.com (the “Service”), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

ASND is built for your own tracking. We collect health and fitness information because that is what the app is for, and we treat it carefully. We do not sell your information and we do not show ads.

Information we collect

Account information. Your name, email address, and password when you sign up, plus an optional phone number and profile photo.

Health and fitness information you enter. Depending on what you choose to use, this can include:

• Body weight, body measurements, and progress photos (front, side, and back)
• Date of birth, sex, height, goals, target weight, training experience, activity level, sleep, stress, injuries, allergies, and food preferences from your intake questions
• Daily logs (sleep, digestion, energy, cardio, meal plan adherence, and notes) and weekly check-in answers
• Meal plans, nutrition targets, supplements and peptides with doses, workout plans, logged sets, and cardio and step targets
• Bloodwork results and lab report files you upload
• Your usual wake, training, and bed times

Data from wearables you connect. If you connect WHOOP or Fitbit, we receive and store your sleep, recovery, heart rate variability, and resting heart rate from that service. We only request read access, and you can disconnect at any time from your Account page, which deletes that data from ASND and revokes our access.

Messages to the AI coach. What you type to Magnus, our AI coach, and the replies. We do not save these conversations after you leave the page (see “AI coach” below).

Device and usage information. If you turn on notifications, your browser's push subscription and a short device description. Our hosting provider also records standard request logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of request, to keep the Service running and secure.

How we use your information

• To run the Service: store your plans and logs, show your progress, and sync your data across devices
• To send the notifications you turn on, such as check-in reminders
• To answer your questions in the AI coach
• To respond when you contact us
• To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, fix problems, and improve features
• To comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not use your health information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent any of your personal information.

AI coach

When you message Magnus, we send your message, the recent conversation, and a summary of your account to our AI provider, Google (Gemini API), so it can answer based on your own plan and progress. That summary can include your name, goals, sex, training experience, injuries, allergies, food preferences, schedule, current meal and workout plans, supplements, recent workouts, recent daily logs, and recent sleep and heart data from wearables you connect. It does not include your email, phone, date of birth, progress photos, bloodwork, or body measurements.

Google processes this information to generate a reply and, under its paid-service terms, does not use it to train its models. AI replies can be wrong and are not medical advice.

If you choose “Upload a photo” when adding bloodwork, we also send that lab report file to Google so Magnus can read your results and fill in the form for you to check. Lab reports often show other details too, such as your name, date of birth, and patient or specimen ID. We only send the file when you choose this option; adding results manually sends nothing to Google.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run ASND, and only as needed for them to do that work:

• Supabase: account sign-in, database, and file storage
• Cloudflare: hosting and delivering the Service
• Google (Gemini API): powering the AI coach and reading lab reports you choose to upload
• WHOOP and Google (Fitbit): only if you connect them, to bring your wearable data into ASND
• Browser push services (such as Google, Apple, or Mozilla, depending on your browser): delivering notifications you turn on

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users, us, or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

Partner links. Some links in ASND, such as to PS Peptides and Amazon, are referral or affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you buy through them. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. We do not send your personal information to these companies. They may know you arrived from ASND through the referral code, and their own privacy policies apply once you visit their sites.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies: one keeps you signed in, and one remembers your time zone so dates show correctly. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

How we protect your information

Your data is stored with access controls so that only your account can read it. Progress photos and lab files are kept in private storage and shown only through short-lived links. Your profile photo is stored so it can be displayed without a link that expires, so anyone with its exact web address could view it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit who can access it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account information, logs, plans, photos, and files within 30 days, except where we must keep something to comply with the law or resolve a dispute. Request logs kept by our hosting provider are deleted on its normal schedule.

Your choices and rights

You can:

• View and edit most of your information directly in the app, and delete individual plans and bloodwork entries
• Turn notifications on or off at any time
• Ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account and data
• Withdraw your consent to our use of your health information

To make a request, email support@asndfitness.com from the address on your account. We will respond within 45 days. Depending on where you live, including Colorado, California, Washington, and other states with consumer privacy or health data laws, you may have additional rights, such as appealing a decision we make about your request. You can appeal by replying to our response. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Consumer health data

Some of what you enter, like weight, photos, bloodwork, supplements, and injuries, is considered consumer health data under certain state laws. By creating an account and entering it, you consent to us collecting and using it to provide the Service as described in this policy. We share it only with the service providers listed above, for that purpose, and never sell it. You can withdraw consent and request deletion at any time by emailing support@asndfitness.com.

ASND is a personal tracking tool, not a healthcare provider, so HIPAA does not apply to the information you store in it.

Age requirement

ASND is only for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account, email support@asndfitness.com and we will delete it.

Where your information is processed

ASND is operated from the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States and wherever our service providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. The effective date at the top shows when it was last updated.
